Privacy Policy
Who we are
CoffeeFail is made by Filip Pokłosiewicz, who is responsible for your data. Contact: czesc@coffeedrop.app.
What we collect
- Account: when you sign in with Google or Apple we receive an account identifier and, if you allow it, your name and email address. Apple may give us a private relay email instead of your real one.
- Profile: the first name and country you enter. Both are visible to everyone in the app.
- Photos and videos: the coffee fail photos and short videos you publish, with the time they were posted. Videos include the sound recorded with them. Both are public. The app uses the camera and microphone only while you take a photo or record a video.
- Safety: reports you send about photos, and the people you block.
Browsing photos needs no account and we don't collect anything about people who only browse.
Why we use it
Only to run the app: to sign you in, show your profile, photos and videos to others, hide people you blocked, and review reported content. We don't sell your data, show ads or track you across other apps.
Who processes it
Data is stored with Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore and Cloud Storage) on Google Cloud servers, which may be outside the European Economic Area under Google's standard contractual clauses. Google and Apple handle the sign-in itself.
How long we keep it
Until you delete a photo or your account. Deleting your account in the app (Profile → Delete account) permanently removes your profile, all your photos and your blocks, and revokes Sign in with Apple. Reports you sent may be kept for up to 12 months to handle abuse.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data, object to its use, and complain to your data protection authority (in Poland: Prezes UODO). To use these rights, write to czesc@coffeedrop.app.
Children
CoffeeFail is not meant for children under 16.
